darts4D-sman – the surface movement manager
delair is continuously investing in research and development of future technology. darts4D-sman is one of these projects. It is an enhancement to the existing and operationally proven darts4D-aman/dman.
darts4D-sman closes the gap between arrival and departure management systems. The objective is to optimise the traffic flow of ground movements and to assist controllers with planning information. This helps to organise and plan bottlenecks at the airport, e. g. congested push-back areas, terminal cul-de-sacks, taxiway and runway crossings.
darts4D-sman also takes into account all information from existing stand and gate management systems like sally. Having more than 20 years of experience with research, development and operation of airport optimisation tools, darts4D-sman is the obvious next step into the future.
